Our dear friend Ann was recently diagnosed with a rare, invasive breast cancer that requires intensive treatment. Ann has already been through surgery and will have to undergo 20 weeks of chemotherapy, followed by six weeks of radiation. To say she has a long road ahead of her is an understatement! Ann is raising a son and daughter both in high school on one income, and during her treatments she will need time off from work. Unfortunately she recently started a new job and has already had to use up her accumulated paid time off with appointments, tests, and recovery from her cancer surgery

If you know Ann, she is the most caring and thoughtful person and she would stop at nothing to help someone in need. Her love for animals, especially dogs, has been her passion and she loves spending countless hours with her All Paws on Deck rescue family; including fostering pups until they find forever homes. She rescued two of her own, Odie and Holly (the loves of her life, aside from her kids) and if you know Ann she would keep all the fosters if she could! She will miss doing all the adoption events but we know she will find a way to help them out however she can during her treatment. That's just the way she is, and we love her for it. Let's take this opportunity to give her back all the love, support, and financial help that we know she will need to get through this and life back for herself and all that love her!
