The Armenian Crown is a 5-episode series in English about the historic queens of the ancient Armenian kingdoms between the 3rd and 14th centuries. Through extensive research and collaboration with ethnographers, historians, academics, artists and writers, these episodes will delve deeper into the important details about the lives, traditions, politics, hospitality, hobbies and personal family life of Armenian queens... how they lived, loved and ruled their country.

This program has both an educational and Armenological purpose. It will explore episodes of the most magnificent yet unknown parts of Armenian history, changing societal beliefs about the role of women in Armenian history and educating the global world about the power and courage of an Armenian queen, which has set the foundation for future female leaders. 

There are ancient recordings of world-famous historians speaking about Armenian queens, and world-renowned artists painting them, but this will be the first production highlighting this historical data and showcasing this time in ancient history.

THE ARMENIAN CROWN WILL BE SUBMITTED TO GLOBAL FESTIVALS, NETFLIX AND STREAMING SERVICES. Subtitles will be available in Arabic, Armenian and French.

A successful 10-episode series called The Crowned (Թագակիրները) was created in 2019 and produced in Armenian for distribution on H1 Television. It is currently in syndication and is also shown in various schools around Armenia and the diaspora to educate students on the ancient history of Armenian women leaders.
