Asayah and Ihndiyah Yisrael are bright, loving children who deserve a fair chance at a perfect smile. For the past few years, I have been trying to get them the orthodontic care they need, but the costs have been overwhelming. Both children have dental issues—bunching, and in Ihndiyah’s case, a canine tooth protruding from the front of the gums. I’ve visited several orthodontists, but either my discount savings plan isn’t accepted or the wait period is six months to a year. According to the dentist, Ihndiyah’s situation is urgent and should be the first priority, as the canine needs to be reversed and pulled in the opposite direction.
