Asking for Help With Our ComEd Bill During a Difficult Time

Hi everyone,

I never imagined I would be in a position where I’d have to ask for help, but this year has been one of the toughest my family and I have ever faced financially.

Due to unexpected hardships, we’ve fallen behind on our ComEd electric bill, which is currently $4,715.85. In order to avoid service interruption and be placed back on a payment plan, ComEd requires a payment of $2,396.42.

We have been doing everything we can to stay afloat, paying what we’re able to while covering basic necessities, but right now we simply cannot manage this amount on our own. I’m reaching out with humility and hope, asking for any support during this difficult moment.
