Asking you for your help

Rebuilding Our Lives and Supporting Our Family

The past three years have been an exceptionally heavy season for our family. After losing multiple family members back-to-back, dealing with deep grief left me feeling completely overwhelmed and struggling to find hope to keep moving forward. Shortly after, I was in a car accident, which added significant physical and financial stress to an already painful situation.

To make matters harder, I am currently helping my sister—a single mother with no outside support—raise five young nieces and nephews. Over the past few months, our situation became even more critical when state assistance was cut off despite our best efforts. Balancing basic daily needs for a household of seven has become a daily struggle.

Asking for help is incredibly humbling and uncomfortable for us, especially after facing so much rejection in the past. We are good, hardworking people who simply need a lifeline to get back on our feet. If the tables were turned, we would gladly be the first to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.

We are turning to our community to ask for support as we work to rebuild our lives piece by piece. Donations will go directly toward helping us secure stable housing and basic necessities for the children and family:

  • Housing & Transportation: Deposit and initial rent for a safe apartment, as well as securing a reliable vehicle so I can commute to work and regain independence.
  • Essential Needs: Daily essentials like food, clothing, diapers, wipes, and personal hygiene products.
  • Education & Growth: School supplies and basic communication devices for learning and staying connected.

I am actively searching for job opportunities right now and am ready to work hard to build a stable future for our family. If you are unable to donate financially, sharing this page or sending job leads and resources our way means more than words can express.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for reading our story, showing compassion, and helping us take these vital steps forward.
