Assistance for PTSD Relocation
Seven years ago, during my first deployment, my wife was assaulted in our own home. Needless to say, she was left traumatized after the attack, and is gravely affected by severe PTSD, anxiety, and agoraphobia.
Upon returning from that deployment I immediately began a transition to civinlian life (I came close to it) so that I would never again have to leave my wife and daughters that alone. After a few more deployments, and a daunting struggle that culminated in a four year legal battle, in the end of November of 2015 I was finally awarded acceptance of my palace chase application.
During the first two years of my new civilian life, together as a family we went through multiple displacements. My at-first seemingly, well-meaning relatives claimed to want to help us financially, yet I was inevitably financially drained -- robbed -- by my own family. I never onced asked for money (not that we were ever offered any) I only ever asked for shelter to enable us to move out debt free.
I was able to find what I thought was a good job, but I soon realised that the salary would not provide a cost of living for my family of five in Lancaster, California! There was another problem as well, aside from the PTSD triggering gun violence/drama in Lancaster, the air base near here flies and tests B-2s. The B-2s produce a sonic boom (usually multiple, per).
These sonic booms have literally dropped my wife collapsing to the floor in all-consuming terror. This is undeniably a horrific way to live every day of your life.
I began another job search; and this time I really wanted to bring my wife back home and raise our own little family in a safe town, that promotes familial well being and provides a mentally healthy atmosphere for my wife. I would do anything to help her recover.
Two weeks ago I was able to secure a job interview with a great company, and a short drive from her home. I earned the job but my start date is Monday, and the fact that I make so little in my current job, I do not have the funds to move my family and myself to this new location. We have worked so hard and given everything we have. we have ZERO family or friends to call upon. Please help me, my wife, and my three daughters, finally make it back home. We've almost done it.
