For many years, our classroom has been honored to partner with Ensemble Theatre Cincinnati, a professional theatre company committed to inclusive, creative learning experiences for students of all abilities. Ensemble’s work is especially meaningful because it can be incredibly difficult to find programs that are truly sensory-friendly and intentionally designed for students with Autism. Ensemble understands this need and meets our students exactly where they are.

Through their adaptive drama program, By Heart, our students are given a safe, supportive space to explore creativity, expression, and connection. Over the years, we have seen firsthand how this program has positively impacted our students’ behavior, communication, and emotional regulation. For many of our students, this is one of the few enrichment opportunities that feels accessible, successful, and joyful.

We have loved working with Ensemble Theatre for many years, and this program has become a meaningful part of our classroom. In order to continue offering By Heart to our students, we need to raise funds to bring the program back into our Autism unit.
