Ava & Ryleighs future
My Neice, Jordan, is a working, single mother of two beautiful, happy, twin girls who she has been the primary care provider of since their birth 7 years ago. She works as a pharmacy technician while they're in school and does receive state benefits to help with monthly necessities, but her hours have been reduced to less than part time and state benefits don't come close to what is needed on a monthly basis. After leaving the father over two years ago for her safety, Jordan has been supporting her daughters with very little help from others. The last several months have been one financial issue after the next. It started with her apartment flooding due to a burst pipe on Christmas eve 2022, then finding out that she would need to enroll the girls in private school so the school could provide the girls with the educational support the public school system could not provide for them. Recently Jordan's employer had to cut back hours for staff and sometimes does not having any hours to offer her to work, and then the girls both needed surgery. The girls were preemies and their health care is ongoing. This past December, on Christmas eve after Jordan's apartment was flooded and deemed uninhabitable, Jordan and her girls were displaced from their home and had to live in a hotel for several months. Additionally, Jordan's only means of transportation was taken by the co owner, which was financed together and the title was in both of their names. Jordan made every payment on time for the vehicle, but it was taken. This left Jordan without a vehicle to get herself to work, the girls to and from school, daycare, and doctor appointments, etc. There was also an objection to Jordan taking her girls, with her own money and savings, to see family in CA, forcing her to cancel her trip, tying up money in airfare credits. Essentially Jordan needs help trying to catch up with everything that has spiraled fiancially for her since Christmas. All of her savings is gone, and she really needs friends, family and community to help. I am asking that if any of you could please help and give whatever you can afford to give to help Jordan and these two beautiful girls get through these tough times. It would be greatly appreciated and never forgotten. Any amount helps, thank you for any and all gifts that you can give.
