Awakeningsoul's Artist Retreat
It is my heart's calling and vision to create a retreat where many can come to feed their souls, have respite from the everyday stresses of life and get back to nature for inspiration and healing through art and conscious living. The retreat will be off grid with many tiny low impact structures all made from alternative and/or recycled building materials with the main focus being the art studio and learning center. I envision an inviting open space which is inclusive of all art modalities.
Creating art, especially in a group setting, is my true passion along with the necessity of organic farming and conscious living. The retreat design will incorporate permaculture principles, edible food forests, plant medicine, sustainable living practices that honor mother earth and harmonious community that will inspire all who come. And most importantly, creating space for practices of gratitude for the creator and source of all life. The money raised here will specifically go towards buying the land and to help towards building the infrastructure of the retreat.
