On March 17, 2025 Cheryl went in for a routine prenatal appointment only to be diagnosed with cholestasis of pregnancy and told to come back that afternoon for an emergent induction. Baby Tim was born safely on March 18, 2025 weighing 6lbs 3oz. Overall he was healthy but being only 36 weeks gestation, he needed some help breathing and developing his lungs. The next day he was lifeflighted to Kootenai Health in Coeur d'Alene where he spent 29 days growing and learning to breathe and eat on his own. At the time of his birth Clay and Cheryl were only expecting him to spend a few days there so we are hoping to help them offset the unexpected expense of nearly a month in the NICU.
