Baby Wichman Maybe?
Thank you for taking the time to read our story! Our names are Darbe and Kendra Wichman - Darbe is a Youth Soccer Coach and Kendra works as an IT Tech. For 8 years we have been trying to get pregnant, the first 3 years naturally and the last 5 with medical assistance. In January 2017, Darbe was diagnosed with a rare condition called Mosaic Klinefelters, or XXYY,XXXY Chromosome Disorder. One of the biggest side effects of this condition is male infertility. At the start of this year, our hopes of becoming parents through conventional means were shattered. This has been an extremely emotional and trying year for us, but we strive to move forward. We have decided to try going through a sperm donor program to get pregnant, and in the future look into the possibility of adoption. But with 5 years of fertility treatments and now medical expenses for Darbe's condition, our funds to make this a reality are pretty much nonexistent. Thanks to donations from family and friends earlier this year, we were able to cover the genetic screenings for Darbe and the initial consultations with the fertility and genetic counselors. We now ask for help as we continue on this journey and hope to bring a new life into this world soon.
