I was a caregiver for 11 years and in May, my employer fired my whole department. I have multiple health issues and in March, my back started really giving me trouble. Just found out that I have a tumor on my spinal cord that requires serious surgery in Pittsburgh. I have had no income since I lost my job and I can't get unemployment because I can't work. My car needs either a new swaybar or CV joint and my surgery is on January 21st. I have $5 to my name. Don't know where to go or what to do. I'm going to be out of commission for a couple months after my surgery due to removal of a portion of my vertebrae. I will need wound care supplies and comfort aids. Also I would like a automatic stair climbing chair since I live on the second floor. I am also a 2 time bladder cancer survivor.
