Dear Friends & Family –

We are certainly living through very troubling times. A virus has ravaged the globe. The economy has been upended causing tremendous scarcity, pain and uncertainty. Racial injustice and the murder of George Floyd are in full view and demand action. 

We have wondered if mankind is up to these monumental tasks. 

But, the human spirit endures. One person can make a difference. And, a group of people who care enough (like you!) can make a real difference. 

The month of August means that the start of the school year is near. And, that means another Back to School Drive to benefit our friends at the Wilhelmina Hardin Food Pantry located at St. Alphonsus "Rock" Liguori Church in St. Louis is underway. 

We fully are aware that this message may find many of you struggling, grieving and worrying. Regardless of your position, please remember Mother Theresa's challenge to us:

“It's not how much we give, but how much love we put into our giving.”

The need is greater than ever, and the stakes are higher than ever. Please contribute what you can. Please share this message with anyone you think would will and able to help.
