Back to work
My name is Cameron, I drive a fiat 500, the one in the picture in fact, and I use it to deliver food for a living, or at least I did. Back in December while doing laundry, I accidentally left my flip key in my pants pocket. This act destroyed my only available key fob and upon trying to start my car, the body control module seized as part of the anti-theft system, and without a paired key fob, of which I have none, the car will not start. After talking to the car manufacturer, they have claimed that the body control module is working as designed and refuse to assist me despite acknowledging that I acted as any reasonable adult would by trying to use my physical key, further they claimed they can inform the engineering team of this oversight, but nothing is likely to come of that. I am trying to raise the funds to pay for the replacement key, a new body control module, and to help cover some bills that have begun to pile up due to my inability to deliver for the few weeks I spent trying to fix it with the money I had.
