I want to introduce an organization that has become a part of our family. The Bears Elite Program has accepted my two boys as if they had been playing together since the beginning. It is a talented and well run organization that needs money just like any not for profit. This organization not only teaches children how to play their respective sports, it also teaches them life lessons which will transcend the football field and follow them as they grow into adults.

I have seen first hand that there are children who come without jerseys for practice, without pads in pants, without mouth pieces or ear pads in their helmets, and without proper shoes and that is something no parent wishes to see. 

I am honored that this organization has let me help coach. There is nothing but continuity, love, and hope for this team. I ask that, if you are able, please help out even if its is a small donation every little bit counts. As a community, there is so much more we can do to help. An organization that is run by volunteers, to help our youth prosper and thrive in this world, is an organization worth our attention. Below is a letter from the Founder of the Organization:

Let me take this opportunity to introduce you to the "trail blazing" Bears Elite Football and Cheerleading Organization. This non-profit organization was founded in Savannah, GA in 2008, with a mission devoted to providing a positive environment that focuses on team-building and good sportsmanship for our youth. In the first year, the Bears Elite football players started with one age group of 12 and under. Over the course of seven years,our organization has sored to new heights and has made a positive impact in many children's lives. We now have four football teams, ages 5-12, and one flag football team, ages 4 and under. We also have two high spirited cheerleading teams, ages 4-8 and 9-12.

Each year our expenses continue to increase. As a non-profit youth organization, we rely on support from our community. Your donations will be used to defray expenses such as purchasing football and cheerleading uniforms/equipment, registration fees and traveling expenditures. All funds go directly to our program, as the coaches, managers and mentors are non-paid dedicated volunteers.

We appreciate any type of contribution to our Program, either monetary or goods and services. Currently, we are in need of ear pads, mouth pieces, shoulder pads, helmets and any football equipment, as well as a sponsor for our annual banquet. All funds raised go directly to our Program, as the coaches, managers and mentors are non-paid dedicated volunteers.
