Belal Fam Survive Gaza
My name is Nina Gorman, a psychotherapist and teacher in Philadelphia, PA, USA. I am doing this campaign to help my friend Belal Abu Rahilia, his wife and family of 10 in Al- Mawasi Khan Yunis to survive in Gaza. I came to know them early in the war in facebook messenger after hearing about his work with doing soccer with children of Gaza to alleviate their trauma. The campaign is for Belal (age 38), his wife Khaloud Abu Rahilia (36), his mother Aisha Abu Rahilia (75), his grandmother Amina Rahilah (92), as well as children of his cousin who was tortured in prison, Ahmed (12), Mohammed (8), Ibrahim (6) and Rita (5) and Amoura (4)
The family lost everything, their home and many loved ones in the war. Their tent was bombed early in the war and his mother Aisha sustained severe burns that took many months for recovery. HIs cousin was tortured brutally in prison. 37 aide organizations have been banned in Gaza and they struggle to get basic food items to survive. They survive mostly on noodles and rice unless we can get donations for them. HIs mother is sick with heart condition in and out of hospital. The children get sick from malnourishment. They need new clothes and in winter are cold and in summer are hot since the tent offers little protection from the weather. The children need school supplies to continue to learn since the schools were bombed. I urge you all to do what you can to assist this family with extreme needs.
All funds are transferred from my secure USA bank account to the secure Paypal of Belal Abu Rahilia
Here is Belal in his own words:
My name is Belal from Khan Yunis, Al Mawasi in Gaza. My mother and grandmother are both sick. My mother suffers from diabetes, high blood pressure, back damage, retina damage and glaucoma. My grandmother suffers from diabetes, injury to foot, inability to walk and incontinence. My mother was injured early in the war after our house collapsed from bombing and our tent was bombed. She and my family are suffering from tragic physical and psychological conditions. They and the children are in need of fresh fruits and vegetables. You hear about the end of the war but families are still living in difficult conditions in tents.
I urge you to assist my family as much as you can. The burden is great and their crying is hard to bear especially of my mother and the children and I am their sole provider. May God grant you a thousand blessings for helping us with your kind hearts.
