Update: they extended her treatment and raised her dosage, but she is running out of the medication soon and we aren't going to be able to afford to buy another vial right now. And she is due to go back to the vet for more blood work soon too 😔

My family has had a very hard year. In July, my husband lost his father, my son was very close to his grandfather and it has been especially hard on him and my husband. Just two weeks later, we had to put our 9 year old Golden Retriever to sleep because he had severe hip dysplasia and wasn't walking or eating anymore. Then, just at the end of January, we found out our precious 7 month old kitten Bellatrix was dying from FIP, which was 100% fatal before 2019, but now has a non-FDA approved treatment that is giving her a fighting chance. If this wasn't enough on my family and my sweet children, not more than a week later we found out our other sweet 10 year old puppy had an aggressive fast spreading cancer and we had to put her to sleep. This has just broken our children, they have experienced so much loss this year. I am doing everything in my power to make sure our amazing Bellatrix makes it, but she needs injections every day for 84 days, and the medication is expensive, the vet care is expensive, we are definitely struggling, but we're trying, one day at a time. The picture of our kitten on the left was right before she started the treatment, she almost didn't make it through the night, and the picture on the right was day 1 of treatment, it has already saved her life and we thank God every day for our baby ❤️
