I'm reaching out today with a heavy heart because my life has been turned upside down. I am a Christian man who loves my wife and child dearly, but I'm about to lose them both because of my faith.

​Recently, my child came to us and announced they identify as transgender. As a father, I want what's best for my child, and my first instinct was that we should navigate this situation with love, prayer, and professional counseling to understand it all. I believe a decision this life-changing deserves time and spiritual guidance.

​Unfortunately, my desire to approach this with caution and faith was not accepted. I was given an ultimatum by my wife: either I immediately affirm and support the path of transition, or I have to leave my home and my family.

​To go against my core beliefs is something I cannot do. So, with a broken heart, I am being forced to leave. I will be starting over with nothing. This is why I am humbly asking for your help.

​Any funds raised will go directly toward securing a new place to live, covering basic necessities, and helping me get back on my feet during this devastating time.
