Bill's Medical Expenses

On Monday, April 5, 2021 my Dad, Bill Hatchett, was taken to the ER and diagnosed with a brain tumor. He was then transferred by ambulance to MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston for further treatment and evaluation. The doctors wanted to operate before his symptoms got worse so he had surgery to remove all of the brain tumor on Friday, April 9. We are thankful that they were so quick to act, but in no way were we prepared for that diagnosis. He was released from the hospital on April 16. He will still have follow-up appointments to get his stitches out and be closely monitored by the neurologist for recurring symptoms. As of now, we are still waiting on his biopsy results to find out if the tumor was cancerous. Before my Dad started getting sick in February he was very active, mowing yards around town as his business after retiring and he is anxious to get back to it. I know he will have a while to fully recover, but we are hoping he can eventually get back to normal. We are trying to make my parent's house more handicapped accessible and easier for him. We are needing to buy him a walker and wheelchair to help him navigate during his recovery. It is not easy to ask for money, but I know my Mom has been worrying about medical bills and expenses and I want to do whatever I can do help relieve some stress. We are so appreciative and thankful of everyone's prayers and sweet messages checking on him during this difficult time. Even the smallest amount of donation is appreciated. ❤️
