It’s my 50th birthday.

A whole half-century of being on this spinning rock. Honestly… I’m impressed I made it this far & still curious. 

As I step into this 2nd half of life, I’ve been doing some reflecting.

Who do I want to be?

How do I want my life to feel?

What do I want to contribute to this world?

How do I live more fully in my authentic purpose — serving, healing, and helping make the world a better 

One truth landed very clearly: 

I have to let myself ask for help. When I’m stuck. When I’m unsure. When I’m tired. When I just need a little support.

And because the universe has a wicked sense of humor, the very moment I made that decision…

my computer went black.

And then… died.

Like, spiritually crossed over to the other side died. 💻🪦

So here it is — my first official act of courageous, awkward, vulnerable asking.

Those of you who know me know I’ve been fiercely independent for most of my life. The “I’ve got it, I’ll handle it, don’t worry about me” type. Which usually results in… exhaustion, burnout, and randomly screaming into pillows. 

So I’m doing something different.

For my 50th birthday, I’m giving myself the gift of asking for help in getting a new computer — the tool I use to work, create, connect, and serve.
