Hello friends and family!

Tomorrow is Sarah’s birthday and I really want to bless her. Especially with the surgery, cancer, and all the insane trials we have had to go through this past week.

First of all thank you so much for your blessings and prayers and generosity. So many of you have been so thoughtful and it has truly helped us during this difficult trial.

I want to bless Sarah with a special birthday gift but I need your help. She really wants our whole family to go up and see Elena off to college at Northwestern. The problem is we can’t afford it at this time.

Sarah has an appointment with the surgeon in a few hours and hopes to get the clear to travel. I expect she will with stipulations. Of course she is not gonna do the lifting and will need to sit and enjoy watching all of us move Elena in… but she dreams of all of us going and getting a nice hotel and taking our time moving her in and getting Elena what she needs.

I would like to do all that and also give her a nice birthday celebration to boot. I figure $600 for a hotel, birthday dinner, travel expenses for the family, and some money for Sarah to help Elena with for her dorm room and to help her get situated for the new year.

If you have read this, thank you… your love and prayers are so appreciated. Please do not feel any pressure to give. It’s just an opportunity to give a birthday blessing to Sarah who is such a blessing to us. I hope we can make this an extra special birthday fir her.
