Blessings for Lisi and boys
On Oct 8, Burton was rushed to the hospital with symptoms of a heart attack. Once there, doctors realized he was having an issue. After they felt he was stabilized, he ended up coding and suffering cardiac arrest. The doctors worked on him for 30 min to get him back.
After that, he was placed on life support and taken to CCU where he was surrounded by family and friends for 7 days, 24 hours a day.
He made it through several procedures that we hoped would allow for him to be brought out of the medically induced coma.
On Sunday, Oct 14, he was being weaned from sedation when he once again suffered cardiac arrest. He was unable to be resuscitated and passed away.
He left behind his wife, Lisi and their two boys, Johnathan, 7 years old and Joshua, 2 years old. Lisi has been a stay at home mom for 8 years. We are trying to raise funds to help cover expenses and give her time to heal with the boys.
