The Bailey Mountain Cloggers have been invited to Italy in August 2023 to participate in a three-part, month long, folk dance and music festival with CIOFF Italy. BMC will share the traditions of the Southern Appalachian Mountains of North Carolina, and represent the USA among several other countries during the tour. The trip will include the cities of Cori, Apiro, and Tarcento, with stops in Rome and Venice. The group will participate in rich cultural experiences, diverse exchange of traditions with other participating countries, and an unforgettable educational experience with people from all over the world.

The purpose of this fundraiser is to directly assist the university students of the Bailey Mountain Cloggers and bluegrass band in the cost of airfare and travel during their month long tour. 100% of the proceeds will directly assist our team members. We are seeking to raise $1,000 for each team member for a total of $20,000. Any donation large or small is incredibly appreciated. We can't wait to spread the traditions of clogging across the world!
