Firefighter Bobby Taylor, a firefighter for the past 30 years who served both Forest Park as well as Monroe County is fighting cancer deemed to have been caused by his decades long service to the community. His cancer has spread from his bladder, to his liver, and now to his brain. His sweet wife Cindy is doing the best she can to care for him and help him fight.

Bobby has exhausted his state cancer policy and they have used all of their reserves. Due to his unsteadiness, they need a bath to shower conversion so he can be bathed safely. $1200 is needed for supplies that his firefighter family will install. The remaining needs are for groceries, and medical treatments needed not covered by insurance.

Even after retirement, Bobby served Monroe County as a volunteer firefighter and mentor to our younger staff. Always willing to grab a truck, run an errand, or pitch in wherever needed.
