DESMOND OKELL
Bob Needs Some Help
All this in a month. Hug your kids.
You guessed it. I recently presented with terminal CAA (Cerebral amyloid angiopathy).
Cerebral amyloid angiopathy (CAA) is a terminal brain condition in which proteins called amyloid build up on the walls of the arteries in the brain.
CAA causes bleeding into the brain (hemorrhagic stroke) and dementia. Also, Superficial Siderosis. I suggest you have a look. They are pretty unpleasant.'
Bottom line? Incurable and with a life expectancy of months to maybe a couple of years. Likely months. Similar to ALS, it can result in dementia at the end stages.
This health development has essentially halted my work, as I'm having trouble remembering words.
There is no known effective treatment. Realistically, it is incurable,
I don't believe in Heaven, but I am prepared to be surprised.
Be Well.
