Bogdan's Car Was Stolen
One of our first year residents, Bogdan Dumitriu, just had his car stolen. His car was stolen just before his wedding last month to his new wife Alison, who is a surgery intern at LLU. Bogdan and Alison took their wedding money intended to start their new home and used it to buy a car instead. I asked Bogdan how the residency could help and he said "My work shoes were in the trunk and I need to replace them." I thought our faculty might be able to pull together some funds to go towards a car for Bogdan. We can't/shouldn't buy a car, but I'm certain even a "small" amount to go towards a starter car to get him back and forth to work would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you al in advance. Bogdan has an uncanny resemblance to Weird Al Yankovich, doesn't he?
