Hi all! My name is Matthew Carter and I am looking for donations of money or children's books to give to the Morristown Hospital NICU unit. I was born there myself 23 years ago at 1 lb. 8 oz. and spent 3 months in the NICU until I could go home. Being born so early can be such a scary time for parents and families so I want find a way to bring them a sense of comfort. I did this fundraiser 3 years ago and we raised over $2,000, donated over 800 books, and made 50 care packages for the NICU and other non-profits. I believe reading is the first step a parent can take to making a lifelong bond with their child and I want to help give everyone that opportunity.
