Last week, my sweetheart 8-year-old cat, Boss, suddenly became seriously ill—days with no appetite and severe nausea, which can be life-threatening for cats. After multiple vet visits, we discovered Boss had an obstruction in her intestines and needed emergency surgery to remove it. While the cost was far beyond my imagination, I had to at least try to save my fur baby's life and rushed her to a veterinary hospital in Red Bank, NJ (about an hour from where we live). Thankfully, the surgery was successful, and Boss is quickly recovering.

Now all that remains is the financial piece—approximately $13,000 for medical exams, X-rays, ultrasounds, medications, IV fluids to support her while she wasn't eating, overnight care, anesthesia, and ultimately, the surgery. If you could consider contributing any amount toward Boss's medical bills, she, her sister Luna, and I would be eternally grateful.
