On Wednesday 5/25/2022, around 7:20pm PST, Breezy Kennedy lost everything in a house fire that consumed all her property. Breezy is a manager on my team and has been vital in our efforts to revive recruitment in this post-Covid era. Her family's home is totally destroyed and uninhabitable.

As most of our friends, family, and colleagues know, Breezy and her fiancé have been living with their four children, cat, and dog in their home for almost a year. As of a few weeks ago, she had just recovered from a severe broken ankle and multiple related surgeries.

Today, for lack of a better term, she is homeless due to the fire consuming their property. This is going to be a long and tedious process as their family tries to navigate insurance company politics and the millions of action items they will need to address for their children and pets while they deal with the emotional and financial windfall this will cause.

I wanted to set up this fundraiser because I wanted to drum up some support for her family to address some of the complex aspects of the situation. I have created this account to where the funds will be directly sent to Breezy directly through this site and not by way of me or anyone else.

While we reach out to the local fire department and other charities for advice and assistance, we are looking to raise funds for Breezy's family to cover costs for food, shelter, clothing, and other unforeseen costs such as any local ordinances and fees for debris removal, etc. that may arise. As additional needs come up, we will notify everyone with Breezy's permission to respect her privacy. If you are friends with her on Facebook or other social media, you might see updates there as well.

Please keep Breezy and her family in your prayers. We will take any expression of support that you are willing to give—from blessings for a brighter tomorrow, information about social services, and/or small amounts of personal assistance.
