Help Bring Chuck Tompkins Home to Hot Springs

Dear friends, family, and community,

We are reaching out to ask for your help in bringing our dear friend, Charles "Chuck" Tompkins, back home to Hot Springs, Arkansas.

Chuck has recently experienced a profound, life-altering crisis. Just a week or so after being involved in a vehicle accident, he suffered a severe stroke. He now faces a long road to recovery, and we need to get him back home where his support system is.

Right now, Chuck’s belongings are still in Mishawaka, Indiana. A volunteer team of two is making the 770-mile trip north to pack up his apartment and bring everything back. Because of his recent car wreck, we cannot safely drive his vehicle back. We are renting a one-way moving truck and a vehicle trailer to securely haul his car and belongings home together.

Our fundraising goal of $2,800 will directly cover:

• The one-way moving truck and vehicle towing equipment rental
• One-way travel to Indiana for the two volunteers
• Fuel for the 11-hour drive back to Arkansas
• Basic packing supplies and overnight road lodging
• Crowdfunding platform transaction fees

100% of any leftover or extra funds will go directly to Chuck to assist with his medical bills, stroke rehabilitation, and living expenses as he heals.
