My name is Stacy Leyko and I am a mother of seven. I am asking for your help to bring my daughters, Maude and Tilde, back home where they belong.

In 2016, while struggling with addiction, I lost custody of my two youngest daughters to the State of Michigan. I did everything I could to get clean—and I did. I turned my life around, raised my five other children, and never gave up hope that my girls were safe and loved.

I believed what CPS told me: that Maude and Tilde had been adopted into a kind Christian home. I believed they were okay.

But I was wrong.

In 2024, I found out their adoptive parents were arrested for aggravated child abuse.

My daughters had been locked in plastic storage totes with lids, starved, abused, and isolated for nearly 9 years. I wasn’t allowed to contact them. I had no way to check on them. I lived every day believing they were loved—only to find out they were suffering in silence.

Now, I am doing everything I can to bring them home and give them the love and safety they’ve been denied.

I am raising money to:

• Hire a compassionate and experienced attorney

• Reopen my case and seek custody or visitation

• Hold the people who failed them accountable

• Support Maude and Tilde with trauma recovery resources

• Pay legal fees, travel costs, and related expenses
