Please, help me bring my husband home to me

Hi, my name is Ashley Redmon and I’m writing this with a completely broken heart. On August 11th, my husband, Philip was murdered. I still can’t believe I’m even typing those words. He was taken from me far too soon, and my life will never be the same.

At the time this happened, I was in the Washington County Work Release Center, working hard on my recovery — trying to become a better version of myself for us, for our future. I never imagined that while I was away, I would lose the love of my life in such a horrible way. I always thought he'd be here when I came home.

Philip wasn’t perfect, but he was real and he loved me like nobody ever has. He was my best friend and my soul mate. He had a big heart and cared so deeply for the people he loved. He didn’t deserve what happened to him.

Now I’m just trying to give him the goodbye he deserves — a simple, beautiful celebration of life where the people who loved him can come together and remember the good times. I also need help covering the costs of his cremation, as I don’t have the means to do it on my own right now.
