Bryce Costa Rica Trip
Bryce has taken on a full load his Junior year of three AP classes along with volunteering for his younger brothers baseball team as an assistant coach. He has a very full schedule but we are very proud of him for all he is taking on and all he has already accomplished.
Bryce's AP environment science class is taking a once in a lifetime trip to Costa Rica for nine days during mid-winter break (February 16 – February 24, 2024) . Some of the highlights of the trip include hiking through rainforests and cloud forests while observing the incredible plant and animal biodiversity (sloths, monkeys, macaws, etc.), morning birding walks, visiting Poás Volcano and relaxing in the Baldi Hot Springs Resort's pools that are heated from the volcano, hiking to the La Fortuna Waterfall, a kayaking trip along Lake Arenal, hiking and exploring the Santa Elena cloud forest in Monteverde, a crocodile jungle safari boat cruise, a Costa Rican folklore evening, visiting Manuel Antonio National Park and swimming in the warm Pacific Ocean with monkeys and sloths in the beaches' trees, learning about Costa Rica's culture and food, visiting a local elementary school and interacting with the students, visiting a local farm, planting trees in a biological reserve, zip lining through the forest canopy and much more!
Due to the cost Bryce and I are looking for ways to raise some funds so that he can go.
We would be very grateful to anyone who can donate anything to let Bryce have this once in a lifetime trip!
We thank you and love you all !
