I'm Building A Better Subscription Box. Beef jerky & meat snack sticks sales are soaring higher than ever. Meat snack sales have increased 3.5% over the last year to $2.8 billion, according to Nielsen, with 7% compound growth over the last four years. Numerous more up to date, upscale brands have shunned the masculine approach that brands like Slim Jim once supported. They're more likely to highlight the fact that their meat is grass-fed, and their products are gluten-free and Paleo diet friendly. 79% of consumers would like to recognize a snack's ingredient list. What beef snack consumers want, is a variety at a reasonable price. I'm ready to give it to them. I don't have delusions of grandeur that I will become the next Starbucks of Beef Jerky & Meat Snack Stick Boxes. Not just different flavors from 1 or 2 companies in a subscription box. 2.) Lower Prices! Sure, you can't give it away, but charging up to $8.32 per ounce + Shipping is completely ridiculous! This has taken over 4 straight months of research and contacting suppliers, while never losing sight of my goal. I now have over 168 beef jerky & meat snack manufactures, telling me they're on board for my initial website launching. I am positive that I can offer 1 pound+ of a great variety each & every month for $3.50 per ounce & include shipping. By not sending the same products (unless requested) twice in a given year, my customers will decide what's GREAT & what's so so. This is hard for me to do this Crowd Funding thing. I've never asked for assistance in my life. (Except for unemployment 2 times) Now at 64 years old, in good health & very active, I need your help. $564.00 Social Security each month just doesn't cut it!
