Hey everyone!!

This is no joke, I will BUZZ my head if we can raise $500 or more this week! I've been really upset since becoming aware that this quarantine has resulted in a 75% uptick in domestic violence calls in Utah County (my home!). While some of us are binging Netflix (me included!) others are in violent home situations. I can't do a lot, but I CAN shave my head because:

1) You are all bored and want to watch a video of me shaving my head

2) I will do that if we can raise money for a local nonprofit relating to domestic violence support (most likely the Center for Women and Children in Crisis)-- I will confirm when I am able to talk with them tomorrow morning

In addition to donating to CWCIC, I will also donate my hair to Children With Hair Loss. They provide free wigs to children all over the US who are suffering from hair loss due to alopecia, tricotillomania, cancer, etc. If I cut my hair basically to the scalp, I will be able to donate 18-20 inches of hair which will make a long wig for a child which is highly requested by the little girls who they serve.

I can manage without hair and people staring or saying negative things, but it's a lot harder to deal with when you're a kid and didn't have the choice to lose your hair or not.

So help me support those suffering from domestic violence during this crisis as well as donating my hair to a child with hair loss.

$500 is the goal-- let's beat that! Let's do it this week and I'll post a video of me shaving my head when we reach the goal! Thanks everyone!
