Calhoun Clan needs a home

Hello my name is Amber. I am a stay at home mother of four beautiful girls and our furry boy as well as homemaker for the most hard-working man I've been fortunate enough to call my husband.

In April of 2015 our rental property in Sacramento, California was put up for sale with no options for our family to remain. My husband immediately sought a better paying position and found it, in Nevada.

So at 34 weeks of pregnancy I packed up all of our belongings solo while he worked during the week. End of May 2015, we left our home town, family and everything we knew, and moved to Nevada. I had our 3rd child via ambulance on the highway late June and thought our troubles were through.

Boy was I mistaken.

In September I received the worse news of my life. .my mother, the only person that raised me,  was struck by a car while riding her motorcycle to work and didn't survive. So at the tender age of barely 4 months old and loosing our matriarch, the news of our "new" home being put up for sale hit us extremely hard. We stayed in hotels from the end of September until March when we finally got accepted into a new rental property!

This place was located in Dayton, Nevada and we thought our troubles were FINALLY over!

I had an extremely quick labour and birthed our 4th daughter in our home March of this year (2017). The month of May came with the news that our house, again, was going up for sale and we had 30 days to move.

We had established a close relationship with our neighbors and thought it a GREAT blessing when we were offered a rental right across the street. June we moved into what we thought was a more permanent situation.

Come August, just a mere 92 days of living at the property, paying rent on time etc we, AGAIN,  got the news that the place was being sold and we had 30 days to move! As of September 1st we had no choice but to share a residence with my grandfather who had only his garage to offer me and my family of 6 where we've been ever since.

We've been working diligently with a credit repair and a realty team towards our very first home purchase. After months of hard work and having the unfortunate luck of having move again and again; we are at the final steps.

I am asking for $1500 to help with this.

I am told i need at least this amount for closing costs, inspections and *good will* offer as well as moving expenses once we our approval notice.

Any amount will help as all money and expenses that come from my husband's working go straight towards bills and essentials to keep our family fed and healthy.

Thank you for your time and please share 😊

Be blessed
