Last year Gabby and I were supposed to go to California to see my birth dad and my half sister and other family members. Ended up that Gabby couldn’t go. I bought non refundable tickets and we had a year to use the credits of Gabby not going. That year was up in July so I booked us for next week. With everything going on, no job and the move cost being so much more than I had planned, I didn’t think we could go. I talked to my sister today and we figured out if I stay with family and the airline tickets already paid for then hopefully I can make it work. I would like to rent a car via Turo because it’s a little cheaper than the big rental companies. If I don’t rent a car then family would have to drive us around and do the airport pick up/drop off. This money would also help us pay someone to walk and feed the pets while we’re gone. It would also give a little extra for souvenirs. I wouldn’t normally ask for something like this but Gabby hasn’t seen the family in over 2 years and I really hate for the airline tickets to go to waste. It’s either use them or lose them. Any amount you can give is so much appreciated and I promise that when I can I will pay it forward.
