Calling All Angel's
Hi my name is Natasha and over this past year i would like to tell you a little bit about my story. In Aug of 2023 i went to the hospital originally bc i had a lot of blood in my urine so when i got there and they did a ton of test they found a blockage in my heart which eventually broke into pieces and went into my lungs. Then i had major surgery on both feet bc of an infection that almost went to bone. Before i had the surgery, tho i had to get 2 blood transfusions. While getting the blood, i started noticing that i was losing feeling in my right leg. And for the next few days, it had gone all the way up my thigh. i had told Dr. n nurses how it was getting worse. No one cared is what it felt like so i get the surgery done on my feet. They sent me down for more test (also during all this im fighting to keep my kidneys from failing completely n having to go on dialysis n dealing with extremely high bp) so test results come back they found a huge absess on the inner part of my spine. So i needed surgery for that next. And again, 2 more blood transfusions, then i catch covid 2 days b4 the surgery now i had to wait 10 days till its gone and i finished the antibiotics. Also was septic...Now, surgery is on for like 2 days after i tested negative for covid. I got the surgery done. 2 more days went by, and they pulled the drainage pipe out. I found out that a piece of my spine had to be taken out but then I received good news that my kidneys are bk to normal. Then while recovering the wound care nurses come to clean n change bandages mind u nurses were neglecting to change the bandages every other day so when wound care came they noticed that my wounds on my feet are now infected to where i had now a blood infection and was told i would need another surgery plus i still cnt feel my rt leg. They advised me that it could b from the infection, and surgery should help. So again, 2 more blood transfusions n now surgery is finished n still no feeling. I get discharged to this messed up nursing home bc up here, they put the people that need physical therapy with the elderly in a nursing home. This place, omg, absolutely disgusting, treated me like crap neglected me with things like meditation only gave u something to drink when they gave basically jail food. And if u wanted a drink from there vending machine it was literally 9$ for a gingerale...anyway so 3 days go by, and I go bk into kidney failure
I get rushed to the hospital and get admitted again. Now I find out I'm anemic and have pneumonia. My oxygen now goes crazy really hard time breathing my heart felt like it was gonna rip through my chest and bc of the particles that broke off caused me to almost die n then boom I coded in room n then woke up to chaos of nurse's doctors all on top of me. 2 more days go by n, then the kidney Dr comes in n says. I think I'm going to set u up for dialysis. I freak out crying . He told me he has one more idea, but if it didn't work, then it was a definite that I'd b on dialysis. So we try the meds. Thank God they wind up working. But I needed two more blood transfusions n if I stay stable enough for a few more days I could leave. I was finally discharged Dec 2023 (4 months in the hospital). When I got back home I was In a wheelchair I lost all and any income I had. I lost everything, bills were piling up just a disaster. Then in Jan 2024 I had went into the hospital again bc kidneys were failing. Also went Septic again and stayed for another month I was released Feb 2024. Then in May 2024 i was found unresponsive. They called 911 and I was admitted Immediately. The lump on my spine was back. I was septic again. I was a major kidney failure, all of my organs were failing and I was in a coma and on life support. They told my family to come, basically, say their goodbyes because they thought. That I wasn't going to make it and if I didn't make it. I was going to be brain dead. After about 3 weeks I woke up. Thank God! But,...When I finally was able to go home once again for the third time I lost everything. I've been fighting n trying to get approved for disability, but for some reason, New Jersey is so hard going back-and-forth. And of course, while you're applying for the disability, you can't have no type of income. So I've literally been living by the skin of my teeth. Had to reapply for everything once again and start from scratch. Every day is a battle trying to walk again, And do everyday normal things again...
Struggling severely! I've been falling behind on bills. Not being able to go to the store for food or just everyday life needs is a struggle and I can't look for a job. Because if I do disability will find out...And therefore I will not get approve. So it's just like I can't win. If there's anybody out there That could just help me in any type of way even few bucks, I greatly appreciate it. No.Donation is too small.Anything will help.
Thank you.
Any donations received. Will all go to paying bills and then Any back pay on bills that I still owe. So that i may build my credit back up. And not lose my home. Some of the medical things that happened in the hospital. We're not covered by my insurance. So I need to also pay those bills as well. They will also go towards food and hygiene products needed.
