Dear FOW- Fans of Walter:

Walter has been at the magical Camp Windsor Mountain for two weeks and is LOVING IT.

When I dropped Walter off at the end of June, he was sure he would not extend. At the end of last week, he asked the camp to reach out with his request to spend two more weeks (!!) and go to Maine on a river rafting trip to the Kennebec River. He is even willing to put in $500 of his own money, and the camp gave us a significant discount to make this happen.

I am writing to ask if you would kindly help me pay for the remaining $2000 tuition for the two weeks of camp, which includes the $250 rafting trip overnight and day out on the river.

Perhaps I have donated to your kid's cause or another one you champion; perhaps you are fans of rivers, rafting, and the great outdoors; perhaps you gave me the idea to create this fundraiser; and, for sure, you are a Fan of Walter and a Fan of Sarah!

No donation is too small. And, do know that if donating doesn't float your boat (ha ha), I totally understand. No problem at all. Your love and friendship are the biggest contribution of all. Period.

This morning Walter boarded the camp bus for Maine! Tomorrow, it's river rapids all day! Then, he will be in camp till July 18 when I will pick him up.

This is a tremendous growth experience for Walter, and one that will fuel his confidence and memories forever.
