Can we took my breasts
Cancer took my breast. Now I’m asking for help to stop the pain it left behind.
My name is Amanda, and I never imagined I would be here asking for help like this.
I survived breast cancer, but surviving hasn’t meant the pain is over.
After my diagnosis, I underwent a mastectomy — a life-saving surgery that changed my body forever. I was prepared to fight cancer, but I wasn’t prepared for what came after. Today, I’m living with a painful complication from my reconstruction: my left breast is migrating, causing constant discomfort and pain that continues to worsen.
This pain isn’t just physical. It’s emotional. It’s exhausting. It’s a daily reminder of everything cancer took from me — my sense of comfort, peace, and normalcy. Simple things like sleeping, moving freely, or feeling at ease in my own body have become incredibly difficult.
My doctors have told me that revision surgery is medically necessary. Without it, the pain and damage will continue. Unfortunately, my insurance does not fully cover the cost, and despite doing everything I can, I simply do not have the financial means to pay what’s left on my own.
I’ve tried to stay strong and independent, but right now, I truly need help.
This surgery would mean:
- Relief from daily pain
- Preventing further complications
- Feeling whole again after cancer
- Finally being able to heal — not just survive
Asking for help is one of the hardest things I’ve ever done, but I’m asking with hope. Every donation, no matter how small, helps me move closer to living without pain. If you’re unable to donate, sharing my story means more than you know.
Thank you for seeing me. Thank you for caring. Thank you for helping me heal after cancer took so much from me.
With gratitude,
Amanda 💗
