Dearest Family, Friends and Supporters,

We are reaching out to humbly ask for your help as Erica is currently and courageously battling Stage 2 breast cancer. At just 35 years old, Erica received the shocking diagnosis, turning her world upside down and none of our lives have been the same since.

She was initially diagnosed with Stage 1 cancer and it was understood she could have a lumpectomy yet it was quickly found that would not be an option for her. Her medical team determined that a double mastectomy would be the best course of action with the hope that no radiation would be required post surgery. Then came the news that the team had determined, with a little more information, that it was Stage 2 and that aggressive chemotherapy treatment was necessary to combat the risk of it being Stage 3 and the hope of not having to also have radiation post surgery which is projected to be mid 2024 if the chemo is as effective as they hope for it to be.

Her treatment plan consists of four bi-weekly doses of "Red Devil" chemo with 12 weekly "less intensive" chemo treatments. All to be followed by a minimum of two surgeries.

Anyone who knows her knows of her sweet nature and caring spirit. Her short haircut was a choice in preparation of losing her beautiful hair and the blue was a special request from her son. If you know you know she is not one to be edgy in any form so this has been a special treat for her and the family.

She is now ready to face the costly fight for her health. The financial strain of medical bills, treatments, costly groceries and other expenses has added an overwhelming layer of stress to an already challenging situation.
