Faith Over Fear: Help Serena on Her Cancer Journey

My name is Serena, and once again I find myself facing a battle I never expected.

After successfully overcoming thyroid cancer, I have now been diagnosed with bladder cancer and will be traveling for surgery and treatment. Because I also live with pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH), my surgery is considered high risk, making this journey even more challenging.

As many of you know, I love giving back to my community whenever I can. Now, I’m asking for a little help so I can focus on getting the treatment I need.

To help with travel expenses, lodging, medical costs, and recovery, I’ll be holding a fundraiser during the Senior Softball Tournament at Scott Park in Silver City , NM We’ll have items for sale, along with a 50/50 raffle, and every purchase and donation will help lighten the financial burden while I fight this battle.

Your prayers, encouragement, and support give me strength. I truly believe that with faith, excellent medical care, and the support of my family, friends, and community, I will get through this.
