Cancer victim loses vehicle
Thru my charity "Will Work for Change...helps in fulfilling the needs of others." We have been able to provide assistance to a young lady that has to live her life different than others.
From childhood cancer thru head on drunk driver and now a 3rd bout with cancer Rebecca wakes up different, stands different, walks different and does what you may think are easy tasks while enduring crippling pain.
It is from this perspective that assistance has been needed in the past and we have kept up with her needs.
Unable to find solid work we were able to donate to her some sound equipment and some training and she has become self sufficient again in her life after so many years of struggle.
By working she has fended of the illness with positive attitude and a desire to excel in her career.
A vehicle was purchased for her a while back and it was her dream car. A classic Vehicross. This car brought her joy and happiness and any doctor would agree it brought to her an inner peace that provided healing energy.
Well Rebecca is becoming very sick again and we believe its because her career and her vehicle has been stopped by a transmission problem. Unable to work she has dropped to an all time low financially and her health follows that downward trend.
When she works and she drives she feels complete as a human and almost normal however never as normal as you and I because she simply has to live life differently than others.
I have strived to bring her happiness and fulfill her Make a Wish type goals while she is still on this earth with us. From skydiving to dressage horseback riding she has been able to feel joy again. Alas the joy is gone and I can only do so much.
I hope to cover over 1000 dollars of her need but hope others will pitch in for the rest.
As the days pass and I have income I will contribute to this campaign.
