Hi Everyone!

You may or may not know that Terry and I (Stephanie) are working Seniors. The reason we are doing this fund raiser is that we need to fix the transmission of our car Theodore (Ford Explorer). Yes we name our cars, or should I say our daughter does, lol. We have both been fortunate to still be working during the Covid-19 pandemic. However, I have been on reduced hours and Terry's company won't let them work over 40 hours.

Normally this repair wouldn't have been an issue, but I had to have surgery last year the day before Thanksgiving. We paid out $10,281.00 in medical for 2019. And we are still paying for my surgery. We have depleted any funds we had put aside for emergencies.

We got an estimate for the transmission repair, hence the amount of the fund raiser goal. And we now have our car at the AAMCO in Vancouver, Wa in the Orchards area. We put it off as long as we could. The AAMCO is very busy so it will be a few weeks before they can even get to it which is giving us time to hopefully get most of the funds together. It will probably be more than the estimate but that's ok.
