Care for Julie Smith
Our beloved Julie has tragically lost everything in the Almeda Fire that ripped through S Ashland to Pheonix on September 8, 2020. She was evacuated with only the clothes on her back, and did not have time to grab a single item.
When asked about setting up a fundraiser, she humbly responded that she didn't want to take advantage of anyone.
Julie has done SO much for our community - taught years of liturgy of the word to mine and other children at Sacred Heart, volunteered at Asante, done outreach for families and individuals who've lost loved ones, made blankets, cards and other items of support to individuals, and has spent countless hours praying for people in need...she has touched an incredible amount of lives with her care, love and concern.
