Hi, my mom has cancer. It has caused a growth in her pelvic cavity thats pressing against her spine and pinching a nerve; causing pain and numbness in her foot and leg. She can't really walk because of it and her quality of life has gone down. Chemo will start soon. She and my dad need help taking care of her basic needs as he is up there in age himself.

We're looking into home help, but as many know the system can be a slow process. At this moment I am struggling to keep up with a full time job, tending to the needs of my parents, and tending to personal responsibilities.

If I'm able to raise the money I'd be able to leave work for 3-5 months to be a stand in as a home care provider untill we can either get me or someone else payed to take care or her.
