A Mothers Road 2 Recovery
I’m writing this because I’ve found myself in a situation I never could have imagined. 04/24/2026, I was involved in a devastating car accident that nearly cost me everything. The impact was so severe that I fractured my neck and was told I was incredibly close to being paralyzed. I was rushed into emergency surgery to have my neck stabilized, and while I’m so grateful to be alive, my life has been turned upside down overnight.
Because of the severity of the injury, I will be unable to work for at least the next 6 to 8 weeks while I focus on healing. This loss of income, combined with the total loss of the car I worked so hard for, has put me in a very desperate position. As some of you know, I have a young 3 year old daughter to care for. Because I am physically limited right now, I still need to be able to pay for childcare so she is safe and looked after while I recover. Between medical bills, my regular household bills, and insurance costs, the financial weight is becoming unbearable.
The trauma of this accident has also taken a significant toll on my mental health. I am struggling with deep feelings of hopelessness and depression, and I know that part of my recovery will involve seeking help from a counselor and psychiatrist so I can be properly supported and medicated through this dark time.
Please donate if you can, or share this page. I appreciate your support so much.
