On August 28, 2026, our family’s world was shattered by the tragic passing of Carter. Carter Shepard was a loving grandson, brother, boyfriend and nephew, but above all, Carter was a devoted father who loved his children more than anything in this world.

He leaves behind three beautiful, very young children who now face a future without their dad: an 8 year old daughter, a 1 year old son, and a precious 2 month old baby boy.

While we cannot ease the immense pain of this loss for his children, we are determined to surround them with love and ensure they are taken care of as they grow. Carter worked hard to provide for them, and we want to honor his legacy by protecting their future.

To ensure these donations directly benefit the children for years to come, we have established a trust for each of the children. One hundred percent of the funds raised through this page will go to them. When they are adults, the trust will be used to help them start their future.

In lieu of flowers for the memorial service, we humbly ask that you consider contributing to this trust fund. No amount is too small, and every single dollar will go directly toward giving Carter’s children the stable future he always wanted for them.
