I am Ruthie Wright and a friend and co-worker of Casey Lehtinen. I have been asked to repost this fund site I started for Casey and his family. Over Christimas we were able to raise $350. Matt Cannon, Casey's dear friend is coordinating the transfer of money from this site to Casey and his family. Yesterday an updated report from his wife, Natasha, was posted on Casey's progress. The report is as follows: " I am heartbroken to tell everyone that Casey has relapsed with his leukemia again. At this point there are few treatment options for him and he dose not have it in him to start all over and go back into the hospital. After he and i discussed the options, he felt it was time to go home and be with his family for his final days. Casey was put on hospice yesterday and the doctor said he might have 7 to 10 days left to live. We are spending as much time with immediate family as we can, making as many memories that we can. Thank you everyone who has continued on the journey with us we love and appreciate you all. I will try to keep everyone updated on his condition as much as I can. Right now he is up visiting and laughing and is in no pain. The doctor sent him home on steroids which has given him more energy to be with us all....." It is in the hearts of many to continue to give to this amazing family because of our love for Casey! As we continue to pray for a miracle up to the very end (as we know, nothing is impossible with our God!!!), we understand that God may still be calling him home to heaven and so we want to bless Natasha and the kids with financial support for funeral expenses and other needs.
