Celebration of Life 4 Ricky A.

Ricky Acosta was killed early Thursday morning in a hit and run incident in Fairfield before work with his dad. He was taken from a mother and father, four beautiful children, siblings, cousins, nieces and nephews and a great deal of loving friends. He was a baseball coach, an old school car specialist and most importantly, a hero to everyone that was blessed with his presence. His energy lifted an entire room. He made sure to surround himself with those that influenced his soul. Ricky was a giver, so much so that he would give the last of what hes got to make sure someone else didnt go without. He grew up without much so even when he had nothing, his soul was still at peace. He stayed humble, he stayed loving and he stayed modest. His love for Tupac proves the depth of his soul in regards to the lyrics. "If you can make it through the night, theres a brighter day." And with this, if we can make it through this darkness were enduring, there will be a better day. "I'm not saying I'm gonna change the world, but I guarantee that I will spark the brain that will change the world."
And that's what this loss has done for us, he'S working through us to spark our brains to do something inspiring and beautiful with our lives.
Our goal with this fundraiser is listed at $1 because we dont ask for anything more than what you're available to give. What you feel is a good amount in your heart, is all we ask of you. Thank you in advance for your donation. We hope to give Ricky a beautiful celebration of life with your help.
"I feel like role models today are not meant to be put on a pedestal. But more like angels with broken wings." -Tupac
